Yuzu Tartar Sauce

A citrusy twist on the classic perfect for fried foods and seafood of all kinds!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ½ tbsp whole grain mustard
  • ¼ cup diced pickles
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp YUZUCO 100% yuzu juice
  • 1–2 tsp capers
  • 1 tbsp dill
  • Mirin (optional)
  • Lemon zest

Instructions

Step 1
Finely dice your pickles and add to a bowl. You can use bread and butter pickles if you prefer a sweeter tartar sauce.
Step 2
Finely chop your dill and add to the bowl.
Step 3
Add the rest of the ingredients to a bowl and mix to combine.
Step 4
Adjust the consistency by adding yuzu juice or mirin and adjust sweetness with sugar.
Step 5
Serve with beer battered cod or your choice of seafood.
